ABOUT US
Welcome to Feral Poodle Studio. We hope you enjoy this site, and that you will contact us soon to learn more about all of the beauty that we devote ourselves to making. Check back often. Many more images, metadata, pricing and purchase options will be coming soon. If you see something that you like, please let us know. We are presently concentrating on Wootz Damascus chef's knives, but we do produce our own take on pattern-welded Damascus blades, and if you are interested in san-mai, or one-piece blades in high-carbon or stainless steels, we would be happy to make you a custom knife. Our current primary sculpture project is entitled The Thin Last Line, a monument/memorial to the profoundly inspiring heroes who sacrificed their health and lives fighting the Covid pandemic. We have not, at present been commissioned to produce this work, we simply and very passionately feel the need to make it. If you are interested in this project, please let us know. It is being realized in Indiana Limestone, which is suited to any environment, is about twice life-size, and can be customized to your specific needs. We obviously do lots of things here at Feral Poodle Studio, and this piece is not usually on the front burner, but it could be moved to priority one at any time, if it would facilitate getting it out where it could, in its small way, heal. The upcoming year will include an increase in tables, as we have some truly enormous trees that we will be bringing in this summer. If you might be interested in a table that includes a five-foot wide, by whatever you want, white oak slab, let us know. We also have plenty of curly black walnut and slabs from a giant, once-in-a lifetime crazy beautiful maple, and lots of other stuff, as usual. So enjoy, explore, and let us know if there is anything we can do for you. That's what we are here for. (P.S. Manley just wants to stare at you as if he is sizing you up, Jethro just wants to know where the freakin ball is, Mandrake just wants to nibble on your toes, and Tater Tot is hungry. (Just saying.)
